We are excited to launch our interactive mapping tool for the Healthy Streets Planning Initiative. The Initiative is a community wide outreach effort to identify opportunities to improve water quality and transportation options in Corvallis.  You can use this interactive mapping tool to leave comments about your vision for a future Corvallis. You can also view other community members comments collected to date.  We will be collecting feedback through October 2013.

Healthy Streets Open House

The Healthy Streets Planning Initiative is a comprehensive City planning effort to treat storm water, develop alternative transportation routes, expand urban green space, and improve community health. There is an upcoming set of public open houses to drop in to speak with City staff to learn more about the current status of the initiative and to provide us with direction for the project. Capital Improvement Projects for cyclists and pedestrians: have your say

The Bike/Ped Advisory Commission meets this Friday (7-9AM in the Madison Avenue meeting room just south of the tracks) to rank those Capital Improvement Projects that affect cyclists and pedestrians.  Those rankings will be passed on to the CIP Advisory Commission for consideration and affect which projects will be pursued in what order by city staff.  See here for the list of projects being considered.  Come and give your input on what matters to you most!

Corvallis-area transportation safety plan: an opportunity for community involvement

The Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization or CAMPO is hosting a public meeting to start work on a Transportation Safety Plan.  The meeting is open-house style, so drop by any time:
